A massive collection of weapons, ammunition, drugs and cash have been discovered at a Rockingham home in Perth Australia.

Police uncovered 13 guns, nearly $18,000 in cash, several thousand rounds of ammunition, methylamphetamine and weapons including a machete, a sling shot and expandable batons during a search yesterday morning.

The items were at a property in Grand Ocean Boulevard, Port Kennedy.

It is believed that two young children were at the home at the time of the raid.

A 36-year-old man has been charged with 23 offences including six counts of possessing a controlled weapon,four counts of possessing a prohibited weapon, one count of possessing a prohibited drug with intent to sell/supply, seven counts of possessing  unlicensed ammunition and two counts of possessing  unlawful obtained/stolen property.

He is due to appear in Rockingham Magistrates Court on March 30.
